Spherical roller bearings are main products in Sunspeed. Sunspeed spherical roller bearings adhere to the people-oriented concept as well as the the principle of "quality first, service first", sparing no effort in achieving the long-term development of the company.
A spherical roller bearing is a rolling-element bearing that permits rotation with low friction, and permits angular misalignment. Typically these bearings support a rotating shaft in the bore of the inner ring that may be misaligned in respect to the outer ring. The misalignment is possible due to the spherical internal shape of the outer ring and spherical rollers. Despite what their name may imply, spherical roller bearings are not truly spherical in shape. The rolling elements of spherical roller bearings are mainly cylindrical in shape, but have a (barrel like) profile that makes them appear like cylinders that have been slightly over-inflated.
Features of spherical roller bearings:
·The raceway of the outer ring of the spherical roller bearing is a part of the spherical surface, and the bearing has internal self-aligning performance to adapt to the relative deflection of the shaft and the seat hole.
·Spherical roller bearings can withstand heavy radial loads and impact loads, as well as certain bidirectional axial loads.
·This type of bearing can limit the axial displacement of the shaft or housing within the axial clearance of the bearing.
·The structural principles and characteristics of this type of bearing are the same as those of self-aligning ball bearings, and can be substituted for each other when the load capacity and limit speed permit.
· The tapered bore bearing can be easily assembled and folded on the shaft through the use of fasteners or withdrawal.
